CONGRATULATIONS!
Alex and Andy Bennett signed to wrestle with Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. They will join their brother,
Zach Bennett who currently wrestles at GWU. Gardner-Webb is a Division 1 team that is part of the Southern Conference.

All of our state wrestlers did an excellent
job at the State Tournament!

Alex Bennett- 152- RUNNER UP, 2nd place
Andy Bennett- 170- tie for 5th place
Gheorghe Meyer- 182- tie for 3rd place
Alex Weatherford- 195- tie for 5th place
Josh Filbey- 220- tie for 5th place
*Because GP West was a one day tournament this year,
the 5 wrestle rule went into effect and there were
many medal rounds that were forfeited and awarded as a tie.
